Healing

So remember my working out stint? Well, somehow I managed to injure myself during that. Yes, personal trainer and all, I injured myself. I was doing something like laying on my back and lifting a weight with my arms outstretched from behind my head to my toes. Would have been smart of me to only do it five times or so. Instead I did it twenty in a row. When I got up I felt a pang in my back and said OUCH. I thought I only bruised it but two weeks later it is still hurting. I went to the chiropractor today and it feels better, the pain is more dispersed and less intense instead of concentrated in one area. My shoulder had started to hurt as well, and at least that has stopped. I'll have to go back again tomorrow for another $25 co-pay. Ugh. Sure drains our budget those seemingly innocent $25 co-pays. Hopefully it pays off!

Oh and exactly where her hands are is where it hurts! Ouchies!

I took dancing when I was younger ages 3-17 lol

I would go to have my hips adjusted and it felt amazing!

ohh no! i hope it helps too. pilates is supposed to really help with that kinda stuff but i'm guessing you won't be able to do any mat exercises until the general pain subsides :( i had some really intense back pain awhile ago, like i couldn't even walk! it was scary and painful and some crazy vietnamese chiropractor put some weird ointment on it and re-aligned my back and it was amazing. i was really nervous but it worked out! pain free.

Yay, Erin and Mai!! Thanks for the encouraging comments. I was in tears this morning from pain and thinking I'm going to have to deal with this the rest of my life. I'm trying a different chiropractor today and after hearing your comments I have much more hope that I'll be okay. Mai, I may have to get the name of your crazy chiropractor if this lady doesn't work out! It is SO scary and painful!! : (

Just saw your blog from 20SB! I'm sorry to hear about your exercising pains. You really start to appreciate wellness when things start to hurt!
