Enjoy some fireworks! I tried to get a picture of the American Flag on here but couldn't get it to work for some reason.
Has anybody seen War of the Worlds yet? I have never been so terrified in a movie. Those last few words of the movie were very profound. There's a great review on the movie here, one I might've written something similar to had I taken the time to sit down and think about, and another one on those last few words here, but you have to register to read it.

haven't seen the movie, don't even know anything about it after being out of the country. Have a great 4th of July!!
It WAS a good movie, though I wasn't really too frightened by it. Zombies frighten me ... aliens, not so much. It kept me on the edge of my seat, though! :)
What really got me was the weather - the aliens weren't bad, but living in Texas and having had to get in the closet for tornadoes and such just made me realize how freaked out I would be at THAT weather. Edge of the seat definently. White knuckles too I think :0.
Haven't seen it yet but Tom C. has been bugging the crap out of me. I guess I'll still see it though; shouldn't punish Mr. Spielberg for Tom's idiocy.
