Would You Like Your Home Photographed?

Do you love to make your home a peaceful abode? Are you near the Monterey or SF Bay Area? Athena at Athena Plichta Photography recently moved from Hawaii to California with her family and has been keeping herself busy taking store photos. She takes gorgeous photos and is looking for volunteers who would like to have their home photographed. Better yet, hit her up if you want some family portraits on the gorgeous California coast. Here are some of her adorable family shots. I'm not sure why, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Athena. I updated my post on my favorite things to do in Santa Cruz just for her if she decides to visit there. I realize how it is to move to a new town, a new state, away from the ones you love, not know your surroundings and have to start brand new. I am so thankful when I moved here to Texas, bloggers that have now become close friends reached out to me and helped pull me through.

Rose, you are awesome! Thank you for putting this out; I just need word of mouth to get the ball rolling and anything helps :) Even though I don't want to, I am so.close to posting on Craigslist for homes or people to shoot! I know it'll work out eventually, I'm just happy to keep it up, thanks to Anthro, IKEA, Pottery Barn, etc. lol!

p.s. We need to be friends on Facebook!

Athena - Craigslist sounds like a great idea! I do know a photographer in San Francisco, that is amazing (actually, her name is Cecilia and she's linked under the owrd "become" where I say "bloggers that have now become close friends"). I don't know if it would help knowing other photographers around you, but she's a sweetheart.

And, yes!, find me on facebook! However, my blog is still mostly anonymous from friends I know outside my blog so I don't mention it on facebook if you could be so kind as to do the same. Oh, and I'm the only one that shows up with a picture under my first and last name.
