New Decor and Pretty Gifts

Outside this time. I never realized outside could be considered just another room of the house until now. I gained an extra room by this gorgeous little seating area that is so peaceful and fun to eat lunch on or read a book or just bask in the sun with my ipod sitting in its speakers playing soft music.

Verandah Decor

Gift Baskets on the Verandah
Spa baskets I made for SIG and my SIL on B's side.

What a cute and cozy place! I would be out on the veranda all the time!

Robin, I sure would be too if this weather would make up its mind. Last night it froze but it warmed up in the afternoon and we were out there.

Girl, thanks! My neighbor's been helping me out. It's so nice to have a shopping buddy. The boys have been great too. J LOVES to pick out stuff to show me. He got his own little treasure chest just yesterday.

Amanda, It is warming up so beautifully here - the times when it's not freezing *sending sunshine your way*. I did not make the products, just saw them on the shelf and thought how cute they would all look together and couldn't resist. My hope is to bring a smile to their face :) .

How lovely! I absolutely love things with mosaic patterns. And I love that chocolat wall decor. I have one up on my wall too, just above my study desk. :) Choco lovers unite!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my site! I love your background! I have Starry Night and Cafe Terrace at Night hanging in my living room and a Van Gogh book on my coffee table. I'm a fan!

I'm actually in Dallas myself. I saw your post on the whole tornado watch thing. If you live in tornado alley long enough (which Austin probably is on the outskirts of), you can stand outside and tell by the color of the sky if there's going to be a tornado or not. Most of the time, a tornado watch is nothing, and usually a tornado warning doesn't amount to too much trouble. Just high winds usually. It's when it gets really calm and still all of a sudden that you need to worry about heading to the closet.

Anyway, your porch looks great! Thanks again for stopping by my blog! Have a great day! :)

Cecilia, I've always wanted to learn mosaics. That's next on my list. Isn't the Chocolat sign fabulous? I just sigh when I look at it.

Marcia, Thanks!

Brilliant, your comment was being held for moderation because of my darn spam tracker. Or should I say the darn spammers? So I just now got it. Any ways thanks for coming by and saying hi. I so want a Van Gogh hanging in my home, the colors just don't go, but I'm going to figure out a way to make it work. Thanks for the warning. Now my husband's going to worry when I'm freaking out when it's all calm ;) which I guess is a good thing!
