Consider, Considering, Considerate

We are actually checking out PUBLIC schools for Justinbustin and Shawners. We have a GREAT one that would be the one he went to. And it's FREE. Who knew? My eyes have been opened a LOOOOT in the last week about schooling in general, raising perfect kids (hey I THOUGHT it was possible, but whatever), and not having defensives against things I don't know much about. It's on the brain. Not happening yet. But at the cost of mucho dollars a year that this two day a week school is it may just be happening. Oh and Becky, I talked to the guy who did Sex, Money, and In-Laws in our Sunday school group last year and he said he would definently have the money part be a factor in our schooling decision as it would relieve a lot of stress not having to shell out that amount times TWO or even one. Roundabout way of asking what do you, my financial accountability partner think? Okay now I'm really going to be dropping you an email soon...xx

If you have good public schools in your area, that is totally the way to go. Good for you! I'm so happy that the area we are moving into has a fabulous public school.

I've been thinking about emailing you too, for several days and just haven't done it. I have thought about the school stuff and budget several times... I did public and home school and ACC in high school. My sister did home school and something a bit like what you are doing - she got a lot out of it! One brother did public, home school, then public again. All that is to say, you're right. There isn't one way for everyone and even diff. seasons have diff. needs. If you think that this might be a good school, I would check into it and maybe even see if you could sit in on a class for an hour or something. The first school I went to was amazing and I learned so much there. A lot depends on the teachers. If it is good, I think it would be great for the budget.

I was just wondering if you guys had made any decision about the schooling, or if you're still thinking about it. Keep us updated!
